Did you draft the algorithm yourself, or did you find some reference somewhere?

No, it's completely self-made.

I was afraid of that. I can't imagine there is no reference to look at?

I didn't found one and if there is one which is lightweight and easy to integrate, it's still another issue because this will replace the whole JavaScript code.
