+In contrast to many organizations for children and young people, our young
+members work in many important functions themselves and are thus involved in
+the work of the association.
+
+Most of the junior members of Teckids e.V. have previously participated in one
+of our workshops or have experience in the fields of IT or technology. In this
+way, they can pass on their knowledge of the various topics to other
+participants. During regular meetings, the teams work together on the
+preparation and develop their own ideas for the topics.
+
+But Teckids isn't just about workshops. The young members participate in all
+areas of the association's work, such as preparing events. For this,
+accommodation, meals and activities such as museum visits have to be
+organized. Young people can contribute to the association's goal of spreading
+free software in education, both directly in their own schools and indirectly
+in the "FOSS" team. The junior members can also be active on the board and in
+the administration as well as in public relations.
+
+In all of these areas, adolescents and young adults can, for example, learn
+how to use a ticket system or version management software to work on projects
+together.
+
